I can't face this."<br /><br />And so she got on a bus and ran off to Las Vegas and Albuquerque, leaving her fiance and family fearing she was dead.<br /><br />We just can't run away from our problems. Would it not have been better all around just to say, "I'm not ready for this" or "I just want a small wedding, not 600 guests and 14 bridesmaids."<br /><br />Don't get pressured into something you think you can't handle. Take some time to think it through before you let other people make your decisions for you.<br /><br />In a marriage relationship, decisions should be arrived at mutually. One partner or family members should not assume they know everything and can make all the decisions. Passive, non-confrontational people tend to let others rule. And unfortunately an overload of pressure causes people to do stange things and make strange decisions.<br /><br />Too bad. Her family and community are embarrassed now. Hundreds of thousands of dollars were spent by law enforcement trying to find out what happened to Jennifer. She is coming home, but it will never be the same. Too bad.<br /><br />Speak up for yourself.
